It was an exciting event for these thespians and wonderful directors, producers, screen writers and much more! To name a few winners, Heath Ledger for supporting actor in Dark Knight, Kate Winslet for best actress in the Reader, Of course the big winner for the night was the expected Slum Dog Millionaire with 8 wins !!!! The 66th Golden Globes! January 12, 2009

Well well, there were far more hits then misses. To start off there were a lot of whites, off whites, and beige gowns with Beyonce in Elie Saab (just a couple inches to small but still an A for the night), Kate Beckinsale with her white J. Mendel number,  Eva Mendes- for the more different approach but still elegant in Dior, and Jennifer Lopez in a gold number from Marchesa looked absolutely hideous on her! Eva Longoria looked gorgeous in this red Reem Acra gown ! Then there was the bride of hell hair by Drew Barrymore, the sky blue dress by Galliono was beautiful but the hair was a total mess!!!! Angelina Jolie looked ok for the night kind of on the fence with her silver Versace dress. Debra Messing a little confusing for me in Vera Wang, i didn’t quite understand where the dress was going, mmm nope still dont know! I loved loved loved the fit of the bottom half of her gown, she acutally would have one the A+ for the night but that top was just not for me! Damn Renee Zelleweger you almost had me! One miss Glenn Close, all i have to say is damn a nice gown i could have appreciated! Maggie Gyllenhaal  in this all over Lanvin cat paw print gown, not really feeling it for the golden globes, it just wasn’t a good match. Congrats to all the winners including 30 Rock, Kate Winslet, Heath Ledger, Slumdog MIllionaire etc.
